I LOVE ZOLOFT
Ok, I know, I suck because I dropped off the planet! All I have to say is ZOLOFT WORKS! Thanks to an increase in meds, I was able to get a handle on my PPD and actually get my life together and find a new normalcy, a new rhythm as a mom of two. Other than the fact that I'm still in the Midwest, things are going well! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my sweet girls! :) Gia is working on crawling right now and finding her words (she said Mama yesterday!) and Sage is working on her fear of the potty (2 out of 3 pees in the potty so far today!). Funny thing is, now that I'm no longer psychotic, I am busy! I'm actually cooking, and doing dishes, and doing the occasional load of laundry again, yay me!
Another exciting update...I am no longer obese!!! I've lost about 15 lbs in the last month and I don't know if it is just my hormones finally leveling out and my body getting back on track or if it is my gluten free/dairy free diet. We finally figured out after 6 months that Gia is sensitive to dairy and wheat, especially wheat. I seem to be able to get by with the occasional sip of dairy, but one bite of wheat and we all suffer as Gia wakes up 5,000 times through the night with a belly ache. Luckily I like a wide variety of food, so going gluten free and dairy free hasn't been too bad. I went through some pretty bad withdrawal the first week after cutting dairy, which was shocking. Who would expect to go through physical withdrawal when quitting milk? I'm talking headaches, cravings, shakiness, irritability...it was not fun and makes me think that maybe staying off dairy even after my days of nursing are over may be a good idea! Enough about my weight and diet, I think I've done enough obsessing in previous posts!
So it is widely known that I want to move back to Virginia as soon as possible, but unfortunately you kind of need a job and money to move, so here we still are in the Midwest. I got a wild hair up my ass and decided to open a baby boutique after I discovered how to make tutus and hair bows as if I have loads of free time and money or something! I can make tutus and hair bows and jewelry and probably a whole lot more (I do own a sewing machine and I do actually know how to use it), but it's pretty hard to sell stuff if you have never made it and therefore do not have any prototypes to photograph and it's pretty hard to make prototypes with no money or time. Will I let any of this stop me though? Hell no! :) I just have to now find other stuff to sell and hopefully make some money to make prototypes of my own stuff so I can sell some more of my own stuff and make money to move home. Yes, I know I have lofty dreams, but whatever, here ya go, here's my store! www.jadelisebaby.com Everything labeled as Jadelise Designs was made by me! The store is not actually open yet, apparently building a website is not nearly as easy as I anticipated, I guess that's why web designers make the big bucks, ha! Anyway, my store will be open on November 15, so get excited, buy stuff, and feel free to write me if you want me to design some custom jewelry, tutus, or hair bows for you!

My sweet little redhead!

Ok - you're the first blogger that I've seen that has correctly watermarked their photos! HELLO... if you put your name tiny in the bottom corner, it can be cropped out! What a waste of their time! CONGRATS on the weight loss! I'm on my first week of strict dieting and am anxious to weigh and see how I've done!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I make sure it goes right over their faces so nobody can steal my babies' pictures and you know I do it because of the psycho that stole your pics!! Good luck with your weigh in! :)
